Reporting of Delayed or Damaged Baggage

In the unlikely event of your baggage being misplaced, the baggage desk staff at the airport will enter the bag details into the Worldtracer Baggage Tracing system and you will be given you a Property Irregularity Report number (PIR), You can then use the reference number on the (PIR) to check if there is any update on the tracing on your bag - please click here to check the status of your misplaced bag

Should you find that your baggage is damaged, please immediately contact the Ryanair staff at the airport or our handling agents. Details of the damage to your bag will be entered in our baggage system and you will be offered immediate assistance.

Whilst we will make every attempt to ensure your baggage is handled with care, you should know that Ryanair's liability for loss, delay or damage to baggage is limited under the Montreal Convention unless a higher value is declared in advance to us and additional charges paid.

Ryanair do not accept liability for fragile, valuable, perishable articles or baggage which is packed in damaged or unsuitable containers. We strongly recommend all passengers obtain adequate travel insurance cover prior to their journey.

If your baggage has been delayed, arrangements will be made to have it delivered to your local address when it arrives. Arrangements will also be made to assist you should items of baggage arrive damaged.

If your bag is damaged or delayed, our liability could be reduced if the item of baggage was presented to us overpacked or in a unsuitable container.
